1 Box Peanut Butter Sandwich Girl Scout cookies
1 1/2 cups cream cheese
1 1/2 cups peanut butter
1 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar
1 cup heavy cream
For ganache
1 12 ounce bag Hershey semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup heavy cream
Crush cookies in food processor and set aside.
Soften cream cheese, add peanut butter, and mix well. Add powdered sugar. Whip cream until soft peaks form. Fold whipped cream into peanut mixture and set aside.
Make ganache:
Place chocolate chips in bowl and set aside. Heat heavy cream until it starts to boil. Pour over chips and stir.
Assembly:
Use an 8-inch springform pan. As a first layer, spread half of the cookie crumbs on bottom, then pour on a thin layer (about 1/3) of ganache, enough just to hold cookie crumbs. Place half of the peanut butter mousse in the pan and spread over the ganache. Place the remaining cookie crumbs on top of the mousse. Place a third of the chocolate on top of the mousse. Place remaining mousse in pan, and finish cake with remaining ganache. Place in freezer for one hour. Remove from freezer, take out of pan, and serve.

I bake the cookies and have the Hershey kisses ready. I put them on the cookie as soon as the cookies come out of the oven. The bottom of the kiss will melt a little and that will make it stick to the cookie better. If you put the kiss on before baking, you will have a mess.

bake the cookies first and then after you pull them out place the kissess in the center of the ball of dough and push it in gently.

You put the Kisses in AFTER you bake them, as soon as they come out of the oven. If you put them in before you are going to have a mess.

u r in luck! we just made some last weekend. u put them in after they bake but as soon as u get them out of the oven so it is easy to press them in slightly so they will stay on.

I made these last night.
You put them on afte you bake.. otherwise they would melt.
Make sure you have them unwrapped(I think you can buy them unwrapped) and put then on the cookie right out of the oven.
I used caramel kisses for something a bit different. They were a big hit!

You unwrap the kisses while the cookies are baking and as soon as you take the cookies out of the oven, put the kisses on them. Don’t put them on before baking or they will melt all over the pan.

Put them on top of the cookie just as you remove cookie from oven.
This way the stay fully formed and attractive.
There is nothing like a fully formed, sweet — kiss !
